Mrs Goldsmith 有個多麼美麗的靈魂呀

人一生走到盡頭,能夠像Mrs. Goldsmith一樣,安詳含笑而去,也算是一件有福氣的美事,盡管她是個癌末又只有剩下幾個月日子可活的老太太,但在護老院裡她是最堅強又優美的天主教徒,甚至在臨終前她都拒絕止痛劑的加強注射,那天我們幫他與家屬做了臨終關懷 Palliative Care之後不久,在神父十字架的安息祝福下,她的生命終於劃下了最後的句點,安祥的微笑伴著她最鍾愛的 500 Miles 吉他声(由他的兒子彈奏輕柔伴唱),事後,她兒子及家屬們都認為她高尚的母親一定去了美麗的國度 ---- 天堂.
他們都為她感到喜悅.
